QWAC is an annual festival on Queen St. in Toronto (on and around the Bellwoods Park area). It takes place during September. The date of this project happened to be one of the hottest days of that year 2017!

I participated in the ‘live painting’ part of the festival, representing India.

My painting is based on nostalgia, memories & the festival of Diwali. I am constantly drawn to inverting colours to create the effect of intrigue & symbolism.
